Peter got a hair cut too this week, because he really needed it. Here is the crazy mop before.
And after. The curls are gone, but so is the mullet and long stringy stuff that hung in his eyes.
He's making progress in the crawling area. He is scooting backwards and doing a lot of this.
Sammy is a mess this week. Every day brings a new injury. getting him in the shower last night I realized that if CPS ever got a good look at him they might try to take him away. The bigger and more capable he gets, the more often and severe his injuries seem to be. His face is totally healed now, but both legs are covered in scabs and bruises, and Friday he fell off of something and scraped up his chest, arm, leg, and face all in one fall. Awesome. Though this does not give the full effect, I do have a picture of his lovely legs.
Aside from the children's antics, I spent the week getting ready for Alexis' bridal shower. Mom helped me make strawberry jam for the favors, and it turned out amazing.
The cute little jars say spread the love. The food was lovely, the backyard looked great, and we had about 50 people to help celebrate. I'm just hoping the bride to be had as nice a time as I did. Of course I didn't really take pictures and I'm still waiting for people to send me theirs.(cough cough, Bree, Alexis) I managed to take two. One of the cute pennant banner on the pergola. . .
And another of one of the game tables. Andi dominated this game. She walked around asking people in her sweet innocent little voice "What's this party called again?" and they would answer with wedding shower or bridal shower and she would stick out her hand and say, "You said a word you're not supposed to" and take their pin. Then, instead of putting the pins on her shirt like you are supposed to, she hid them so no one would realize what she was doing when she asked the question. Too much Thad in that girl.
One more week till spring break and I'm really looking forward to it. 6:30 am is getting really old and I'd like to not see it for a few days.

okay, other than the eyes, I don't think peter resembles either of the other two kids! He is totally his own stud muffin.
Sammy seems huge as usual. I was hoping porter would give him a run for his money this year, but alas, i think sammy still has him beat.
And Andi.... well. nough said ;P
Cute backyard party!! So pretty.
Also I know we have said this before but boots and sammy were separated at birth. Seriously. I have decided to stop saying "get down!" or "stop it!" or "be careful!" because I would rather stop stressing myself out and just deal with the injuries after they happen.
So Jacob decided to cut his hair as well. I think I am going to have to buzz it. Sweet! Love your backyard!
