We have now reached that point in life where taking Andi any place is embarrassment waiting to happen. Example: last week waiting in line at the post office, there was a large lady standing in front of us, Andi only has one volume: loud.
Andi:"Mom, that lady has a BIG bottom."
Me:"Andi be quiet."
Andi:"But Mom, look at her bottom!"
Me: "Andi, you are being rude, be quiet right now."
Andi: "But Mom, look at her BIG bottom."
Me(hit's Andi on the head with the box I was holding): "Stop talking right now."
There is no way the lady could have missed Andi's announcements about her big bottom. Then when we got in the car I tried to explain to her why we don't say things like that about people.
Andi: "But Mom, did you see her bottom? how did it get like that?"
Me: " She doesn't exercise."
Andi: "I exercise, so I don't have a big bottom."
Me: "You're right, you don't have a big bottom."
Andi: "that was so BIG!"
She does things like that on a regular basis, in fact almost every time we go anywhere. I'm almost afraid every time she opens her mouth in public anymore.

OMG That is so funny!! Patrick has started doing that too!! He practically yelled "that guy is a big ol' fat guy" in the line at the store the other day. I had to smack him on the head to get him to stop. He was pretty embarrassed afterwards when I told him we dont talk like that.
LOVE IT!! I laughed so hard when I read this post. You have to love kids honesty :)
bwa ha haha ha!
hey at least she's honest. maybe no one has ever told that lady she has a big bottom because they were trying to be polite, and now that she knows, she'll start exercising and eating healthy. WAY TO GO ANDI! Bringing truth to all the "really big bottom" people of the world!
k not funny but sooo funny! :)
I love it! The other day we were in a public restroom and Sage says to me "mom, what was that noise?" (refering to the next in the next stall) I about died laughing and said, "honey, everyone comes in here and uses the bathroom." I was only hoping the lady that was next door to us was laughing too!
Oh hunny, i know what you mean, i have reminded Kimberly often that if she has something to say about someone she sees she is to whisper it like a secret to me...she learned that, after seeing two women in Walmart holding hands and being affectionate with one another...ya that was a moment!
