Friends

Lately Andi seems to have a renewed interest in Sammy. She thought he was cool when we first brought him home and asked to hold him every time he woke up, but after a week that wore off. Then she pretty much didn't care if her was around unless he was stopping me from doing something with her and then she wanted him back in bed. But this last week or so she wants to sit on the couch and hold him by herself.

And this one is just the best morning face, I had to post it ;)

She really likes him these days. In fact, some of you might know that she is super cranky if you have to wake her from a nap instead of letting her wake up on her own. But I had to last week to get some errands run, and I discovered the trick to waking he up and having her happy is to lay Sammy on the pillow next to her. She hears him and just rolls over and smiles and kisses him. He seems to like her to and always gives her a big smile when she gets in his face.
On a totally unrelated note Thad and I have an ongoing argument on a nightly basis just about. I won't tell you the opinions on the matter cos we want your un-biased input. First question is, do you have assigned sides of the bed? and if so, is trading sides an option?
Next question, Do you kick and flail to un-tuck the covers at the foot of the bed because it restricts your feet, or do you leave the covers tucked in?
I'm fairly certain the comments will back up my opinion on the matter, but we'll see ;)

first of all, Cameron and I have recently discovered that we sleep better on the others side of the bed, so we trade sides about every week or so now... and who even makes the bed in the first place?!?!

David and I have always had our own sides of the bed and it would be so weird to switch now...although when he is not home I like to sleep on his side sometimes. And I just don't tuck the sheet in at the bottom because I would just kick it out anyway...like in a hotel, that's the first thing I do is pull the sheets out so I can move. Hope this helps!

So Bryan and I have our own sides, but when he is gone, which is often I sleep in the middle. When I am gone, he sleeps on my side (he says it smells better). My side of the bed the sheet is tucked in and on Bryan's side it is untucked. When the bed gets made and it isn't often I just tuck his side back in. We also sleep with a total of 8 pillows on the bed.

Yes 8 pillows. Bryan has a bad knee and has to sleep with pillows underneath it to prop it up and he won't use one big body pillow. I use a body pillow to prop by back up and one to prop my stomach up. We do have a huge king bed. So we aren't fighting for space, but I know it is ridiculous and outta control. :)

The WIFE gets to pick which side is hers and YES...the covers DO restrict your feet if they are tightly tucked ;0) Sammy and Andi are cute little buddies ♥

We have set sides (it is an unspoken issue, but it has always been that way.) We have only switched once, but it is debatable (if there is a valid argument.) Even when we stay in a hotel or in a bed that isn't ours, we stay on our sides.
Next, I hate it when he un-tucks the sheets at the end of the bed. If your feet feel constricted, stick them out the side, but make sure to tuck that side back in when you make the bed!

I find it easier to say that there is no "my" in a marriage so the notion of "sides" is just wrong. And as for the un-tucking/re-tucking of sheets there is only one solution: No more making the bed!

I have my special side. However, when I can't sleep anymore, I suggest flipping the mattress. That usually works for awhile. Then when that doesn't work, I request a side change. However, I have started liking my side more now as it's path is easier in the dark to the bathroom so I haven't switched lately, however, it is a fair thing to do I think. And please, my feet DO NOT stay under covers. They are always out!! Always! Even in winter. It's very important.

The end.

Oh and thanks for the birthday call. You were the only person to actually call. Everyone else texted!! :) I felt special.

I think this is a funny post, but John and I have are own sides. Our stuff is on the tables next to the bed. We only time we switch is when I am pregnant so I can sleep closer to the bathroom :). Oh and John HAS to have his side of the sheets out. Which is frusterating sometimes because it is hard to make the bed.

Brit-

I hope Peyton loves her little brother as much as Andi...I am so worried because he is going to be a boy that they won't be close.

Oh and a big NO to both. Sorry Thad!

We do have specific sides to the bed we did switch once so that I could have better access to the baby. We have since switched back. I perfer to have the sheets tucked in however he always untucks the bottom of the bed claims he is to long and it bugs him...whatever...
