Winter Wonderland

I've been so distracted by our house drama that I forgot to complain about the weather. I know, I do it all winter long, but this is bad. There has been snow on Timp for over a week, and I'm not just talking a dusting of snow, I mean like a foot. The high yesterday. . . 50 degrees. Hello, it's September! I don't know what's going on here, but I am definitly dreading the next 6 months. Winter is going to be forever this year! So far we only have rain in the valley, but it's been raining for weeks now. I feel like we are back in Vancouver. Last night was kinda cool though, the thunder was so loud that it shook the windows and woke me up at midnight. At least I'm not walking in snow yet. . . I guess that's one thing to be happy about.
oh! and speaking of house drama, our landlord finally called us back. He's assured us at the earliest the house would be coming down in 6 months, but probably not that soon, and he'd give us 2 months notice when it happens. So we should be done with school and out of here by the time they tear it down. Kinda sad, but at least we don't have to move!

Brittany, that's so crazy! Sean's aunt is here visiting from Sandy and se said it is snowing there today. We went to the high school football game tonight and it was 65 degrees and everyone had sweaters and blankets on. I was like these people have no idea what cold is. I feel for you!

ok so in all the phone calls i have gotten about wedding stuff never once have you mentioned your house getting squished. whats up with that?? o and i like the pics on there of the beach, but really now, could i look anymore awful? didn't think so. NOW... onto the weather comment!! i don't want to hear you complaining this year because that will be MY OFFICIAL JOB!! did you know it will get to NEGATIVE 60 DEGREES in minot?!!?! i mean, they close everything down at NEGATIVE 50, so i should be greatful, but i'm wondering that the heck i'm gonna do once it hits zero??? SO... in case you get my obituary in the paper before you get thank you cards from the wedding and all, consider this a thankyou in advance!! sigh..... yes, and you can have that brown jacket you like so much.

can I just say that I love how you worded your post..."I was so distracted that I forgot to complain about the weather" like it is you duty to complain about the weather. I love ya Britt, don't worry only one more year in cold Provo, but just to make you jealous, it was 79 here today!!

Well from one extreme to the other, it's still hitting 100 degrees here!! Although the nights are gorgeous and we'll be just around 75 at Christmas! But the summers are rough, so everyone gets it sometime! Enjoy Provo while you can, Britt. I didn't think I would miss it for one second, but I really do! Glad your house will be up long enough for you to finish living in it!
